These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ProPlot, a construction site management platform operated in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using ProPlot, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

"Service" refers to the ProPlot web application and all related features
"User" / "You" refers to the individual or entity using the Service
"Contractor" refers to third parties you invite to view or interact with project data via share links
"Content" refers to all data, photos, documents, and information you upload or create within ProPlot

2. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and verify it before accessing the Service
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must be at least 18 years old to use ProPlot
One person or entity per account — accounts are not transferable

3. Subscription & Payments

ProPlot offers a 7-day free trial for new users
After the trial, continued access requires a paid monthly subscription at Free in betanth (Early Adopter price, guaranteed for 12 months from subscription start)
Payments are processed securely by Stripe
Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the app settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis — contact admin@proplot.co.uk

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

Use ProPlot only for lawful construction management purposes
Not upload malicious, defamatory, or illegal content
Not attempt to access other users' data or reverse-engineer the platform
Not share your account credentials with others
Ensure any contractor data you enter is accurate and that you have the right to share it

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all Content you upload to ProPlot
By uploading Content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it as necessary to provide the Service
We do not access, sell, or share your Content except as required to deliver the Service or as described in our Privacy Policy
You are responsible for backing up your own data

6. Contractor Share Links

When you share project data with contractors, you are responsible for the information shared
Share links expire automatically after 30 days
Contractors accessing shared links are bound by these Terms in respect of the data they view

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep ProPlot available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability
We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime

8. Limitation of Liability

ProPlot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
ProPlot is a management tool — it does not replace professional construction advice, structural assessments, or legal compliance obligations

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By using ProPlot, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our data practices.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via account settings
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
Upon account deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
